The Canbor VR headset is a good choice for anyone wanting to get a taste of VR. It’s comfortable, adjustable and extremely easy to set up. It can be used with phones from 4.7 inches to 6.2 inches, including iPhones and Android.

Design

The design uses foam padding providing a comfortable fit whilst minimising the light entering the VR headset. Further adding to comfort there is an over the head strap to distribute the weight and add extra support. The straps are all adjustable to ensure a snug fit and minimise pressure on the nose.

Using aspheric resin lens technology, the headset offers a 120 degree field of view and the phone housing has holes on both sides to help the phone stay cool. There are no buttons on the headset itself, but it does have a handheld remote.

The remote has limited functionality on iOS as with many VR controllers. It does have more functionality with Android, but it can be finicky and unreliable, with mediocre motion tracking. There are buttons to control volume, play/pause and answering the phone, as well as a touch button for games.

Compatible With:

This VR headset can accommodate for phones from 4.7 inches to 6.2 inches. Including the iPhone X/ 8/7 / 7plus / Se / 6s / 6P / 5S, Samsung s5, s6,s7,s8, s9,Note8, LG G3, G4, V10, V20 etc. You can move the phone holder to fix the phone depending on the size of the smartphone

Overall:

The Canbor VR headset is a good choice, if you just want to watch a few YouTube Videos and have some 360-degree video experiences. However compared to other headsets we’ve tested, it didn’t really meet our expectations and we would have a hard time recommending it. Check out the DESKTEK V4 Review.
