If you didn’t manage to grab a ticket for the final between Juventus and Real Madrid then worry not. The annual football competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations has finally brought VR in to the mix. The Champions League’s final, which will be played on the 3rd of June, is bringing something new to the game.

BT Sport will be broadcasting the football match at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium in virtual reality.

Viewers will be able to watch the entire game in 360 degrees giving you an immersive experience. You won’t even have to be a BT Sport subscriber to get involved in the action. The match will be available free to everyone on YouTube as well as BT’s app and website. It will allow viewers to switch between different camera angles to get the best view.

Many of you have asked if you need a VR headset to watch the UEFA Champions League in virtual reality. Well you can watch the game in 360 degrees without a headset but this might get tedious clicking around trying to follow the fast paced action. If you want a fully immersive experience then get yourself a mobile headset.
